Alan Held and Clayton Held have over 50 years of combined experience in the building trades. In 1994 they built their first energy efficient, passive solar homes. Guidance from the Energy Efficient Building Association, passive solar publications and the NC State solar program helped make it possible.
An intimate knowledge of the interrelated workings of a structure's systems give them the opportunity to apply the most practical construction upgrades. Input from designers, HVAC, plumbing and insulation contractors all contribute to the final product.
